“Harry Faulhaber of southwest Michigan created the Pieta Prayer Book in the 1970s. He was looking for a spiritual gift to leave with people when making home visits on behalf of his parish. Together with his wife and a friend in San Damiano, Italy, they compiled the book of favorite prayers. I discovered this little book on my first pilgrimage to Medjugorje and it instantly became my favorite prayer book. I have always kept a copy close by bed and in my bag and I turn to it more frequently than any other prayer book. Wayne also loved this little prayer book and never traveled without it.” — Judith
